Dallas screenwriter Patricia (Pooks) Burroughs began her writing career as a novelist. She has been published in 20 countries and nominated for Romance Writers of America and Romantic Times awards. She is a Breckenridge Film Festival winner. Her script DREAMERS was a Nicholl Fellowship Awards finalist in 2000. Her script REDEMPTION is a 2001 Nicholl Fellowship Winner.
Patricia is the third writer in the history of Nicholl Fellowship Awards to reach the finals twice -- the first to do it with two different scripts.
She is one of 94 Nicholl Fellows in the world.
