This Crumbling Pageant

Persephone Fury is the Dark daughter, the one they hide.

England, 1811. Few are aware of a hidden magical England, a people not ruled by poor mad George, but the dying King Pellinore of the House of Pendragon.

The Furys are known for their music, their magic, and their historic role as kingmakers. When Fury ambitions demand a political marriage, Persephone is drugged and presented to Society–

Only to be abducted from the man she loves by the man she loathes.

But devious and ruthless, Persephone must defy ancient prophecy, embrace her Dark magic, and seize her own fate.

Be swept away into the first book of a dark fantasy series combining swashbuckling adventure, heart-pounding romance, and plot-twisting suspense.

It’s out of print and so now is only available as an ebook, alas. That may change in the future but for now… not so much. It’s set in 1882 in West Texas and New Mexico. Thanks for asking!

Totally off-topic question here…Are you the Patricia Burroughs who is teaching the ‘Basics of Writing a Novel’ class at Collin County Community College starting in January? I’m thinking of signing up for the Tuesday morning session and would love to have more details about how the class is structured.

Douglas College makes me feel good because poesosfrrs and staff really make an effort to show how much they care. The quote We don’t care how much you know, until we know how much you care really holds true with me and it really sines through at Douglas College. There is always someone who can help you, whether it’s preparing for an exam, filing your taxes, getting academic advise, or wanting to volunteer. There are endless opportunities! I am proud to have been a student and now an employee at Douglas College.
